Connecticut DDS To Pilot Remote On-Call Services For Community-Dwelling Adults With I/DD Receiving In-Home Supports
The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is planning to pilot the use of remote support services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD) living in the community while currently receiving Medicaid individualized home supports. DDS seeks to select one current DDS provider organization in each of the state’s three regions to pilot a Remote Supports waiver service option for a minimum of two individuals per region and up to a maximum of 10 per region for the first six months. The pilot is slated to begin in early 2022. To launch the pilot on October 1, 2021 . . .
