Connecticut To Launch Addiction-Related Social Impact Bond Projects For At-Risk Families
The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) is planning to implement a social impact bond initiative to fund addiction treatment for families involved with or at-risk of involvement with the child protective services system. In June 2013, the state was selected to participate in the Kennedy School's Social Impact Bond Technical Assistance Lab. In November 2013, DCF issued a request for information to solicit project ideas from provider organizations and received 14 responses.
