Connecticut Medicaid Expands Use Of Electronic Visit Verification For Home Care Visits
On January 1, 2017, after extensive piloting, the Connecticut Department of Social Services implemented a new Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for non-medical Medicaid home care provider organizations. The EVV is a telephone and computer-based in-home scheduling, tracking, and billing system for home care services; it provides fiscal verification/accountability and enhanced customer service.
