Consumers With Cancer Said Quality Of Life After Palliative Care Services Via Telehealth Was As Good As With In-Person Care
People with advanced lung cancer who received palliative care via telehealth for 24 weeks reported quality-of-life scores that were equivalent to the scores of those who received in-person palliative care. The palliative care services for those who received telehealth services, and for those who received traditional in-person services, were started within 12 weeks after diagnosis. Quality of life was assessed every 12 weeks for both groups.
