Copa Health & Central Arizona Shelter Services Selected To Provide Services At A New Arizona Transitional Housing Facility For Homeless Individuals With SMI
On April 21, 2022, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) awarded a contract to Copa Health and Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) for a new transitional housing facility for people with serious mental illness (SMI) who are experiencing homelessness. The facility, to be built in downtown Phoenix on the Arizona State Hospital campus, will have space for up to 70 residents and an on-site health care clinic open to the public.
