DC, Hawaii & Utah Have The Highest Percentage Of High Performing Nursing Homes
The three state/jurisdictions with the highest proportion of high performing nursing homes are Hawaii, at 55.6%; the District of Columbia, at 43.8%; and Utah, at 42.9%. The three states with the lowest proportion of high performing facilities are Louisiana, at 3.8%; South Dakota, at 5.7%; and Mississippi, at 6.5%. Nationally, about 11% of nursing homes are high performing.
