State Of Delaware Creating Behavioral Health Consortium & Addiction Action Committee
The State of Delaware is preparing to improve state-funded behavioral health services by creating a Behavioral Health Consortium and an Addiction Action Committee. The consortium and the committee will help create a statewide integrated plan to address addiction and mental illness and foster a coordinated behavioral health system. The initiative was proposed in Governor John Carney’s January 2017, “Action Plan For Delaware.”
