Denver Homelessness Response Likely To Cost $155 Million, 77% More Than Expected

The City of Denver plans to spend approximately $155 million on the All In Mile (AIM) High homeless initiatives between July 2023 and the end of 2024. This new figure is about 76.5% higher than the budgeted $87.8 million total for 2023 and 2024.

Much of the $155 million of AIM spending is due to one-time costs, including buying hotels and pallet shelters. The breakdown of this spending includes:
