Veterans Affairs Announces Mental Health Partnership With Cohen Veterans Network

On February 27, 2018, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Cohen Veterans Network, Inc., (CVN), a non-profit philanthropic organization, announced a new partnership intended to increase veterans' access to mental health resources. The key elements of the partnership include: potential mental health education initiatives for CVN staff and clinical professionals; and consumer marketing and public health messaging. Additionally, the VA will discuss potential locations for Cohen Clinics in regions believed to have underserved veterans in need of mental health care services. The partnership went into effect upon announcement.
