Digital Lifestyle Program Cuts Diabetes Risk By 46% In Prediabetics
A digital lifestyle change program reduced the 10-year risk of developing type 2 diabetes among people with prediabetes by 45.6%, researchers reported. Among those diagnosed with type 2 diabetes who participated in the program, 8.2% reached remission, compared to 3.4% of a control group that did not participate. Additionally, those with type 2 diabetes who participated in the program had higher weight loss, at 6.5 pounds compared to 2.0 pounds among those who did not participate.
