Digital Mental Health Treatment Vendor Offers ‘Zero Risk’ Program For Health Plans
A digital mental health treatment (DMHT) device vendor is offering health plans a “zero risk” program that provides a performance guarantee of effectiveness and outcomes-based pricing if they cover the device. The program was launched by Freespira, Inc., which developed and markets a DMHT device for home treatment of anxiety disorders, including panic disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Costs were not reported in the announcement.
