Digital Mental Health Treatment Vendor Offers ‘Zero Risk’ Program For Health Plans
A digital mental health treatment (DMHT) device vendor is offering health plans a “Zero Risk” program that provides a performance guarantee of effectiveness and outcomes-based pricing. The program was launched by Freespira, Inc., which developed and markets a DMHT device for home treatment of anxiety disorders, including panic disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Costs were not reported in the announcement. Freespira is paid for by a user's health plan as a bundled service or a case rate per member treated, according to the company’s response to a query.
