Eight States & DC To Participate In Housing & Services Partnership Accelerator To Reduce Homelessness

The federal government is sponsoring a new initiative with eight states and the District of Columbia (DC) to reduce the incidence of homelessness by addressing health-related social needs (HRSN) for housing-related services. The states (Arizona, California, DC, Hawai’i, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Washington) are participating in the “Housing and Services Partnership Accelerator” (Accelerator). The goal is to strengthen partnerships across housing, disability, aging, and health sectors; access available federal programs, and resources and maximize federal flexibility.
