With up to 90% of individuals with autism reporting the use of complementary, alternative, and integrative medicine (CAIM) at least once in their lifetime, an uncertain evidence base for the effects of CAIM drove a recent review of meta-analyses exploring the effects of CAIM in autism across the lifespan. The review was accompanied by the development of a web platform to disseminate the findings.
