FDA Approves Device To Prevent Sports-Linked Traumatic Brain Injury
On February 26, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized marketing of Q-Collar, a device developed by Q30 Innovations, LLC, to be worn around the neck during sports activities to protect the brain from traumatic brain injury (TBI) associated with repetitive sub-concussive head impacts.
