Federal Continuing Resolution Extends Medicare Telehealth & Hospital-At-Home Through March 14, 2025
The federal continuing funding resolution, signed on December 21, 2024, includes provisions to extend Medicare telehealth flexibilities and hospital-at-home through March 14, 2025. The flexibilities had been slated to end by December 31, 2024. An earlier version of the bill had provisions to extend Medicare telehealth flexibilities by two additional years and extend the hospital-at-home program for five years. Additional legislation from the new Congress will be needed for Medicare telehealth and hospital-at-home waivers to continue beyond March 14, 2025.
