Federal Government Now Accepting State Applications For The $50 Billion Rural Health Transformation Program Grants
On September 15, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the availability of $50 billion in funding for implementation of the new Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) grants. Grants are intended to support rural communities in improving health care access, quality, and outcomes through health care delivery ecosystem transformation, the funding opportunity stated.
