Feds Approve New York’s Medicaid 1115 Waiver Renewal
On March 23, 2022, the New York Department of Health (DOH) received federal approval to extend its Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) 1115 waiver for five years, from April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2027. The extension does not contain new program elements, although the DOH is preparing to submit a new 1115 waiver amendment with major changes.
