Florida Corrections & Bridges Of America Reach Agreement On Broward County Reentry Center Contract

On May 12, 2016, the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) announced it had reached an agreement with Bridges of America about its contract to run a 172-bed residential reentry center in Broward County called Broward Bridge. The agreement resolves a bid protest lodged in March 2016 by Bridges of America after FDC declined to award the next contract for the Broward County reentry center program.
