Florida Corrections To Re-Bid Prison Health Care Contracts

On February 23, 2015, the Florida Department of Corrections (DOC) announced plans to release an invitation to negotiate (ITN) to rebid the Department’s health care services prior to the beginning of 2016. Under contracts that began in July 2013, DOC currently contracts with Corizon and Wexford Health Sources, Inc. for prison health care services; the contractors are responsible for physical, mental, behavioral, and dental services, including medication management and pharmacy.
