The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is preparing to launch a pilot program to coordinate delivery of cross-system behavioral health services in Broward County, with a specific focus on criminal justice diversion programs for offenders with behavioral health disorders. The pilot program will implement a provision of an executive order issued in September 2015 that directed DCF to develop a statewide model for a coordinated system for Medicaid and non-Medicaid behavioral health services.
