Florida Establishes Certification Process For Recovery Residences
On June 10, 2015, Florida Governor Rick Scott signed legislation that establishes a process for the voluntary certification of recovery residences and recovery residence administrators. Recovery residences are also commonly known as "sober homes." Sober homes are alcohol- and drug-free living environments for individuals who are attempting to remain substance abuse free to recover from their addiction.
