The Florida Medicaid program launched a pilot program in two regions to move waiver services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) to managed care. The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) contracted with Florida Community Care (FCC) to operate the pilot for beneficiaries in Regions 6 (Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, and Highlands counties) and 11 (Miami-Dade, Monroe County).
