Central Florida Behavioral Health Public Behavioral Contract Renewed For Almost $1 Billion

On January 21, 2015, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) renewed the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network’s (CFBHN) contract through 2020 as Managing Entity for public substance abuse and mental health (SAMH) services in 14 counties; the renewed contract begins July 1, 2015 and runs through June 30, 2020. CFBHN’s initial five-year contract awarded in 2010 was valued at $689 million; the renewal is valued at nearly $1 billion, bringing the aggregate value of the 10-year contract to nearly $1.6 billion.
