On November 3, 2023, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) released a request for applications (DCF RFA 2324 028) to identify counties and behavioral health provider organizations ready to implement jail-based programs for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction in jails throughout the state. Applications are due by January 8, 2024, and awards are anticipated by January 29, 2024.
