For 80% Of Hospital-At-Home Consumers, Remote Physician Visits Had Same Outcomes As In-Person

For 80% of consumers enrolled in the hospital-at-home program at a Massachusetts health system, those who received remote physician visits and those who received in-person physician visits had similar safety risks and self-reported consumer outcomes. The remote visit group and the in-person visit group also had similar 30-day hospital readmission rates.
