GAO Recommends HHS Monitor & Address Health Care Access Barriers For People With Disabilities

In a report released on December 19, 2025, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) made five recommendations, which the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has reportedly neither agreed nor disagreed with, in a requested review of federal efforts to ensure the accessibility of health care for people with disabilities.
