Georgia Awards Public Behavioral Health ASO Contract To ValueOptions

On September 17, 2014, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) announced the selection of ValueOptions, Inc. to serve as the department’s administrative services organization (ASO). ValueOptions will assist DHBDD in administering the behavioral health and developmental disability care through a wide range of services. The initial contract term ends June 30, 2015, followed seven one-year renewal periods.  The contract value for the full eight-year period totals $199.9 million. ( *see editor's note)
