Georgia Unveils Medicaid Expansion Plan With Work Requirements
Georgia is planning to submit a waiver to expand Medicaid and, at the same time, add work requirements as a condition for the expansion beneficiaries to maintain eligibility. On November 4, 2019, the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) released a draft 1115 Medicaid waiver for a program called “Georgia Pathways” to solicit public comment before submitting the waiver to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Comments will be accepted through December 3, 2019.
