Georgia Medicaid Proposes Revisions To Section 1115 Demonstration Waiver Extension Application

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is proposing changes to Georgia Pathways to Coverage® (Georgia Pathways) that will improve the member experience to participate in the program and support members on their path towards financial independence and potential transition to the private insurance market. Georgia Pathways to Coverage, a new program that was originally implemented on July 1, 2023, seeks to increase access to affordable health care coverage, lower the uninsured rate across Georgia, support members on their journeys to financial independence, and promote members’ transition from Pathways into private coverage.
