Georgia To Launch Work Requirements For Medicaid
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced that the state will begin a work-for-Medicaid program, called Georgia Pathways, in July 2023. The state eligibility program will require low-income individuals to complete 80 hours of work or volunteering per month to qualify for Medicaid coverage. It will apply to individuals who are between the ages of 19 through 64, not otherwise eligible for Medicaid, with income up to and including 100% of the federal poverty level (FPL).
