Glade Run Lutheran Services To Close Residential Program

Glade Run Lutheran Services in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, is closing its residential program in favor of expanding its school and community services. The organization announced the closure on November 17, 2016, and anticipates the residential program closure will be completed by the end of the year. The residential program provided about 90 beds at two facilities, and served from 166 to 260 youth with psychiatric disorders annually. Glade Run is working to secure placements with family members and another residential facilities for the last 40 youth still housed in the residential program before shutting it down.
