Global Medical Costs Projected To Rise By 10.4% In 2025, United States By 10.2%

Health insurers worldwide are projecting that medical costs will increase by 10.4% in 2025, about the same rate of increase as in 2024. In North America, costs are projected to rise from 8.1% in 2024 to 8.7% in 2025. However, in the United States, insurers project that costs will increase by 10.2%, up from 9.3% in 2024. Costs are also projected to accelerate in the Asia Pacific (12.3%), the Middle East and Africa (MEA, 12.1%). Increases in Europe and Latin America are also projected to increase, but at a slower rate.
