Global Parkinson’s Disease Genetics Study Finds 26% Of Cases Were Among Populations Under-Represented In Other Research

Researchers reported that 26.4% of Parkinson’s disease (PD) cases in a large multi-ancestry genetics study were among populations typically under-represented in other PD research. Most PD research takes place with European and Ashkenazi Jewish populations, according to the researchers.
