GuardDog Telehealth Judgment & Permanent Injunction Bar Access To TEFCA, Carequality Based On Alleged Inappropriate Disclosure Of Consumer Records
GuardDog Telehealth will no longer be permitted to access consumer data through the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) or Carequality interoperability frameworks following a federal court judgement and permanent injunction entered on March 20, 2026. The judgment also requires GuardDog to delete all consumer health information obtained through those frameworks.
