Half Of Health Benefits Leaders Report An Increase Of Children’s Behavioral Health Claims & All-Age Claims For Serious Mental Illness
The research found that nearly half of health benefits leaders reported an increase in health care claims for children and teen mental health and serious mental illness (SMI), including care for addiction disorder and suicidality. The increase is partly driven by a lack of access to adequate mental health care, including specialists and specialty programs.
