Hawaii Issues RFI For Medicaid QUEST Program With Focus On Social Needs
On September 20, 2018, the Hawai‘i Department of Human Services (DHS) released a request for information (RFI) for its QUEST Integration (QI) Medicaid managed care program to address members’ health-related social needs. The RFI seeks responses from all stakeholders, not only potential bidders. RFI responses were due back to DHS on October 22, 2018, and DHS intends use them to develop the Med-QUEST Integration RFP, which is slated for release during 2019. The new contracts will run from January 2020, through December 2025.
