Health Care Employment Increased By 22,000 Jobs In July 2026

Health care employment increased by 22,000 jobs in July 2026, continuing an upward employment trend in the sector, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The increase was below the average monthly gain of 36,000 health care jobs during the previous 12 months.

Most of the increase was in ambulatory health care services, which added 18,000 jobs in July. Employment in social assistance showed little change during the month.
