Health Care Mergers & Acquisitions Fell Slightly In Q1 Of 2025 Against Q4 Of 2024
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deal volume in the health care sector decreased 6.1% to 816 completed transactions in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, compared to 869 deals in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, according to an analysis by R.L. Hulett. The Q1 2025 deal volume represented a 9.3% increase from the 746 deals in Q1 of 2024. The authors attributed the quarter over quarter decline to a possible stabilization in the market.
