Health Care Workers Value Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, Retirement Plans Ahead Of Other Benefits
When surveyed about what they value most in a job, health care workers overwhelmingly agreed that health insurance (83%), paid time off (83%), and a retirement savings plan (76%) are the most important employee benefits that they look for in a job. However, which is most important depends on a health care worker's age. For younger employees (aged under 40 years), work-life balance was most important (49%), while older employees (aged 60 years and older) said that benefits were the most important.
