HHS Awards Medicaid CCBHC Expansion Planning Grants To 15 States; Up To 10 Will Be Selected To Participate
On March 16, 2023, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) awarded 15 states one-year planning grants valued at $1 million each to prepare to launch the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. The 15 states are Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia.
