High Caseloads & Lack Of Support Are Leading Causes Of Job Dissatisfaction For Louisiana Child Welfare Workers
Nearly half (46%) of child welfare staff in the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) are not satisfied with their jobs according to a recent survey. In their survey responses, 24% said they were dissatisfied, 22% said they were neutral, and 54% said they were generally satisfied with their jobs. Key problems linked to dissatisfaction include high caseloads, lack of resources, and lack of support from supervisors and upper management.
