On June 2, 2022, Highmark Health and Allegheny Health Network (AHN) announced a two-year initiative to create the High-Performing Social Care Network (HPSCN) that will compensate non-profit community-based organizations (CBOs) for providing services to address social determinants of health, such as food insecurity, transportation, and housing.
