Highmark Launches Quartet Health Analytics To Identify Behavioral Health Conditions

On May 13, 2016, Highmark, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan, announced a partnership with technology company Quartet Health focused on coordination of behavioral health and primary care services. Quartet will analyze Highmark Blue Cross claims to identify members with undiagnosed mental illness, addiction, or behavioral health conditions and facilitate referral to relevant services.

The Quartet Health system uses an algorithm to analyze health plan data to determine if any given member is at-risk for a behavioral health issue. With the member’s permission, Quartet will then work with the member's primary care physician . . .
