Home-Based Virtual Reality Treatment Of Chronic Low Back Pain Clinically Effective
A virtual reality (VR) device for home use to treat chronic low-back pain was more effective than a sham treatment at reducing pain intensity and pain interference in daily activities. The effectiveness was similar across various sociodemographic groups. The comparison involved the FDA-approved RelieVRx device developed by AppliedVR. The treatment program lasted 56 days.
