House Medicaid Fraud Probe Extends To 10 States
The House Committee on Energy and Commerce expanded its ongoing investigation into waste, fraud, and abuse within Medicaid programs by sending letters to ten additional states requesting information and documents on actions each state is taking to strengthen Medicaid program integrity. The letters, sent on March 3, 2026, were directed to the governors and leaders of state health agencies in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maine, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington State.
