On June 16, 2023, the State of Idaho (the State) — on behalf of the Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) —selected Magellan Healthcare, Inc. (a Centene company) on behalf of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) for the next contract to administer the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP), a pre-paid ambulatory health plan for Medicaid and non-Medicaid behavioral health services for people with serious mental illness.
