Idaho Rebids Public Behavioral Health Plan Administrator Contract; Coverage Expanded To A Full Continuum Of Medicaid & Non-Medicaid Services
Idaho is rebidding the public behavioral health administrator carve-out contract, the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP) from outpatient services only to include management of a range of services across a continuum of care settings for Medicaid and non-Medicaid services for people with serious mental illness (SMI). The IBHP managed care organization (MCO) is a risk-based, limited benefit pre-paid ambulatory health plan (PAHP) which is currently responsible for credentialing the provider network, authorizing services, and overseeing Medicaid outpatient behavioral health services statewide.
