Illinois DCFS Ends Eckerd Connects Child Welfare Predictive Analytics Pilot

In December 2017, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) ended a pilot predictive analytics program with Eckerd Connects. The pilot was through a sole-source contract valued at $366,000 that began in May 2016 to test the Eckerd Rapid Safety Feedback program. Under the contract, Eckerd Connects, with its partner Mindshare, analyzed DCFS data to identify children who have had prior DCFS investigation and who are at risk for serious injury or death.
