Illinois HFS Launched Pathways To Success Program To Provide New Community-Based Services For Children With Complex Mental Health Conditions
On February 24, 2023, Illinois Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) launched the Transformation Initiative portion of the Pathways to Success program to provide new community-based service for children with complex mental health conditions. Through the Transformation Initiative, eligible children and their families will have access to Care Coordination and Support Organizations (CCSOs). Currently, there are a little over 500 youth enrolled in CCSO services, however HFS anticipates that the number of enrolled youth will increase to over 10,000 as program implementation continues.
