Illinois Juvenile Justice Awards $2.2 Million Addiction Treatment Services Contract To Wells Center
On October 23, 2014, the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) awarded Wells Center, Inc. a one-year contract valued at $2.2 million to provide residential addiction treatment services for youth at the Illinois Youth Center (IYC) St. Charles. The contract services include a standardized substance abuse assessment, individual and group counseling, and relapse prevention, with treatments being provided in a therapeutic community model. The initial contract term began December 1, 2014 and runs through November 30, 2015, followed by three one-year renewal options through November 30, 2018.
